2. Music clip: “Anh và Anh” (2015)

The original video was shot in 4k

This is one of my professional works that I’m very proud to share this with all of you. It was produced in the summer 2014, after I finished my first year as a film-student at Ohio University. Final work is finished in 2015.

3. THE MUSE (2017)

My beautiful muse/little sister through my lens when she’s 19 in our traditional dress. To me, ever since she was born. She’s been the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen. She’s so pretty, so adorable, so sweet. Been filming her since she was 13, when she started to agree to let me film her. Days after days, years after years, I did not realize I have been a documentary film-maker of her beauty. She’s growing up right in front of your eyes, and her beautiful smiles, her beautiful hair, her beautiful face have all been captured through your lens. I’m so proud of all the precious footage I have. She’s my muse. Yes! Because she’s the subject of many of my artwork, either videos or photography. Her beauty has inspired me every time I need an inspiration and brought me up from those times when I need to refresh myself. This video is just over 5 mins. But you’ll see footage of her when she was 13, then 15, then 17, 18, 19…wearing “ao dai” (the traditional white dress). Each frame of the video is color graded in Photoshop. I want to make sure if you pause anywhere on the video, it will be a beautiful still photo. She’s here in all of my artwork. And she will be in my future movies too! And yes, I’m the singer of the video too. I hope you’d like it.

One afternoon, I asked Jenny: “Hey, it’s sunny and breezy out there, we have so many beautiful flowers made from clay by your aunt in the house, I want to play some music, there’s a piano next door and you’re so lovely. Do you want to do an art work with me?” “Yes, why not?” 5 years old Jenny smiled Yes, why not…and we captured a whole beautiful and peaceful afternoon of Texas in this video, with beautiful flowers, soothing music, some touch of breezy air and a smile from a pretty little girl. Are we awesome? When art comes from your heart, every little simple thing is beautiful you know

The video is a self-made product for the crowd-fund project of “Oh hey, let’s love” Movie.
